With over 60 years of history, Grupo Patrimar is a national resource in the development of high-end, middle-income, and affordable real estate projects, recognized for its solidity, innovation, and excellence in project delivery. Operating in Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, the company has stood out for its modern approach to project management and its commitment to quality across the entire construction chain. To sustain its growth and maintain leadership in a competitive market, Grupo Patrimar has consistently invested in the digitalization of engineering and construction processes. The pursuit of greater control, predictability, and operational efficiency has guided the adoption of modern and scalable technology solutions.
Business Challenges
With a diversified project portfolio and operations involving multiple contracts, suppliers, and business units, Grupo Patrimar faced challenges related to process standardization and efficient integration across many areas. The company identified the need to implement a specialized platform that could integrate key processes, such as budgeting, contracts, progress measurement, payments, and cash flow in an automated and auditable manner. It was also crucial to ensure data flowed seamlessly between management systems, especially with the ERP SAP S/4HANA, to provide real-time visibility and support decision-making.
Approach
With the support of Peloton Consulting Group, Grupo Patrimar launched another digital transformation project based on the implementation of Oracle Primavera Unifier Cloud, a globally recognized solution for capital project management. The project lasted 19 months, from October 2023 to May 2025, involving 30 Patrimar professionals and 20 Peloton consultants. More than 150 requirements related to Patrimar’s Financial Construction Management processes were met throughout the project, covering areas such as budgeting, contract management and measurement, subcontractor payments, and cash flow control. To ensure effective adoption of the solution, approximately 100 employees were trained in the use of Oracle Primavera Unifier Cloud. In addition, seven integrations with ERP SAP S/4HANA were developed using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) middleware, ensuring data consistency and agility in information flows across corporate systems.
Business Impact
The transformation led by Peloton propelled Grupo Patrimar to a new level of operational and digital excellence. With automated and integrated processes, the company gained access to real-time reports, delivering significant improvements in agility, control, and transparency. Among the main benefits achieved were real-time budget management, strengthened governance, and improved communication between internal teams and suppliers — a factor that was significantly enhanced, driving collaboration and daily efficiency. It also gave greater prominence to the Controlling team, which now participates in the full activity cycle, ensuring compliance, anticipating deviations, and proposing improvements. With a scalable architecture involving Oracle Primavera Unifier Cloud and Oracle Integration Cloud, Grupo Patrimar maintains business flexibility and ensures that its technological investments are aligned with its sustainable growth plan.
Summary
The implementation of Oracle Primavera Unifier Cloud represents an important milestone in Grupo Patrimar’s digital transformation journey. With the expertise of Peloton Consulting Group and the power of Oracle Cloud, the modernization of project management enabled resource optimization and established a solid foundation for the company’s sustainable growth. More than just solving operational challenges, the project strengthened Patrimar’s ability to operate with innovation, efficiency, and intelligence in the upcoming cycles of Brazil’s real estate and construction sectors.
